Well, this was one of the nastier events I've done over the years, weather-wise. We knew we were going to have *some* rain on Saturday... which turned out to be pretty much all day. But at least the weather man promised no rain on Sunday... though it rained almost all day then as well. And it was chilly enough (40s-50s) to make getting wet as much dangerous as it was a nuisance.
Thankfully everyone survived the ordeal and picked up some new knowledge of both riflry and April 19th, 1775.
We had 2 shooters clean the Redcoat, James and Scott. Congrats fellas!
We also had only 1 Rifleman this weekend, Dylan who re-qualified, but couldn't manage to beat his old best score.
C'mon back, y'all! The December event hasn't sold out yet, and it just might be cold enough to earn the Winterseed patch!
Sorry for having such few pics. I couldn't get around well and phones & rain don't mix well... Anyway, a few pics are posted below.
Thank you all for coming out, and thank you crew for all your efforts taking up my slack.
PA 1st Rifle James with wife Michelle
PA 1st Rifle Scott
Rifleman requalify Dylan.
And even though it was a re-qual, since it was an exact 210, Dylan was baptized with some good ol' North Bridge water.
