Been a while since I've done one of these. Pix coming.
Here are the pix.
Nine shooters, three new riflemen, single day event.
And one of the "distinguished".
We had a GREAT event yesterday. Everyone was open to learning, they asked smart questions, and when we voted for a 3rd AQT, two men shot Rifleman!! THANK YOU SHOOTERS!
Wyatt scored 210 on the first timed AQT! He could be found taking notes during all courses of instruction ;-)
Chris scored 215
John scored 235 with Iron Sights and received a Distinguished rocker as well.
John sent me an email this morning and wrote that his son, Jack, told him that "It was his favorite day ever, even better than our trip to Disneyworld". John also wrote that he's already signed Jack and him up for September in Waco and they are hoping to bring Grandpa along as well. John is also signed up for the KD in New Braunfels in October.
Chris sent me an email asking questions about becoming an Instructor.
A huge thank you to The PrizeVendor, Tumbleweed, and FloydF who worked tirelessly to assist and support my dream to become a Shoot Boss. The PrizeVendor took on his role as Line Boss like he'd been doing it forever and not just for the second time! FloydF taught all of us a new way to present IMC that I'm excited to practice and share at my next AS, and Tumbleweed took his story telling to a new level by telling all three strikes in less than 45 minutes total!
Sounds like an excellent shoot! Nice job, guys!
And congrats to all the new Riflemen!
HUZZAH!
Awesome job and a hearty congratulations to all; wish that I could have been there.
Jason,
We are really zeroing in on a one-day COF that functions well - granted, we only had a couple of beginners on the line - but the instructors aren't overwhelmed and I don't think that the shooters are either.
Hope to see you in Waco in August.
Debbie
Debbie is really organized. I saw that at the last Waco event I did with her.
