Saturday morning dawned early and beautiful on a line with 14 shooters (including 4 kids!!) to git r' done. The first Redcoat kicked off strong with 3 riflemen hitting Morgan's Shingle, four 400 yard shooters, and James T. cleaning the board with his trusty bolt action .22. With the relays we got we only got through one AQT, but turned out two requals (Kevin M., 228; and James T, 240!!) and one new Rifleman (Ray S, 212). Sunday was cloudier with a little rain. We lost one shooter but picked up another, and the shooters continued to show great performance By the end of the day we had completed 4 more AQTs, with James T consistently keeping his scores well above 210 while swinging that bolt. One the second to last AQT we gained one new rifleman (Matthew B., 212). The kids (Lily C, Nathan B, Devlin M, and Joey P) were fantastic and safe, and made steady score gains throughout the weekend even if they didn't get over the 210 threshold. Thanks again to Mike, Chuck and Alex for running a safe and fantastic shoot, and big congrats to Chuck for making Red Hat!!! Well deserved and long overdue!
