What a beautiful weekend for an Appleseed, and 8 shooters ready to go! Everyone listened attentively to history and all instruction. One of our shooters had even been studying and preparing for the weekend, as he was sometimes able to take the words right out of my mouth! That was awesome!!
As our weekend concluded we had 2 new rifleman and 1 re-qualify.
Thanks to all who attended and special thanks to the Egyptian Rifle and Pistol Club for allowing us to use their range for our event.

Marion was my first APPLESEED. It was awesome. I was one of the fortunate shooters to earn the coveted rifleman patch. I'm 54 years old and have been shooting since I was 8 or 9 years old. Leslie and Don helped me realize what I didn't know. It was humbling at times. The history was awesome and presented very well. I can't wait to do it again. I barely made it with a 211. My goal next time is a 220. I'm shooting a 1022 wood stock carbine with tech sites.
