Another great PD event on the books. Some "repeat offenders" and some new faces. From young Sophia who is looking at ROTC and perhaps the Air Force Academy one day to Carol who showed amazing persistence and improvement, it was a great group and an honor for all of the instructors. The weather was very nice for this time of year and we were spared even a drop of rain.
At 4PM EST precisely, we fired the Victory Volley and read with respect, the names of the first fourteen men to die on April 19th, 1775. We ended the event with a reading of Patick Henry's most famous speech - "Liberty or Death". I know of no better way to spend a fine April weekend.
Many thanks to all who attended - students and instructors.
In Liberty.
