The April Ames shoot was outstanding! The weather was all we could hope for in mid-April and we had a great group of shooters who made the event a joy to instruct! They were a very attentive and safe group. Their attitudes were extremely positive all weekend, and they made constant, steady improvement.
We ended up with 5 new riflemen, 2 requalifiers (who both made distinguished), and one new orange hat, Luke!
A great set of orange hats, too. Joe gave an outstanding strike 2, Emily's IMC was as clear as I've heard, and Brandon did a great job calling the line - perfect voice for that duty. Many thanks to Mike and Festus, too.
I'd like to personally welcome our newest orange hat instructor, Luke! Congrats, buddy! Rhysling and I have known Luke for many years and look forward to working with him on the Appleseed trail. Luke also qualified Rifleman at this shoot!
Here's Luke receiving his Rifleman's Patch and his Orange Hat! Welcome to the central Iowa instructor cadre!
Here are three other new Rifleman: Melody, Ben (on a bolt gun, no less!), and Eric. Morgan was our other new Rifleman, but someone else took that picture and will have to post it here. O0
Congrats to you all!
Here are some action shots from the weekend.
