Project Appleseed

We had a fantastic turnout and great weather for the shoot in Dubuque. There were eleven shooters on Saturday and eight on Sunday. Everyone seemed eager to learn and we saw lots of improvement in everyone's skills. Kudos to all the youth participants. You guys kept going strong all weekend. With a little persistence you'll soon become riflemen. Gene and Sheryl, you guys are knocking at the door. Work on those skills and come back to earn your patch. I especially want to congratulate Jesse and Nydia. You are first husband and wife team I've seen to earn their rifleman patches together on the same day! Huzzah!

Many thanks to the Izaak Walton club of Dubuque for hosting our event and for the other instructors, Gary, Mike, and James for your sacrifices and for making this shoot a success!

What a great looking group of folks up there in northeast Iowa!  Keep up the great work!
