Patriots Day shoot lots of history and improved shooting.

I've heard it whispered at Appleseed events these guys (the instructors) talk a good game but can they shoot? It's always funny because we're more and willing to shop instructing and give shooting demonstrations. Every year at 19 April I have the Instructors shoot the Red Coat first thing. And I have them shoot it posted backwards, can't make it too easy on them. >:D
Another great weekend at IDMR. The weather was pleasant and the bugs weren't bad. The line was filled with energetic boy scouts that made a great deal of progress with their marksmanship skills, well until late Sunday when they ran out of steam. The history was outstanding and everyone soaked up the story presented by the master, Engineer Shooting.
Thanks Ken and Lori for such a great place, I always enjoy myself. See you all next month.

When I met EngineerShooting and his family, I was working an event in Hernando FL and was there to claim my red cap as Full Instructor. PHenry was Shoot Boss in one of the most intense thunderstorms ever to water Florida - the entire target line melted.
Not long after that, EngineerShooting bought property and developed a 25m Appleseed range - an Anchor Range. Lucky Lori planted flowers and what-not and generally made it into a garden. In my long life, I have shot on pretty ranges, bleak ranges, and ugly ranges. I hadn't ever shot on a garden range. Until then. Now it's home.
