Every shot fired in the country to better your shooting skills, to make yourself more valuable as a potential defender of the Constitution, is a shot fired for freedom (Fred).
:F Patriot's Day Memorial Event :F
April 21-22, 2018 El Paso, Texas, Project Appleseed participants from Far West Texas and Southern New Mexico came together to celebrate the foundations of the United States of America, with History Heritage and Rifle marksmanship. Camaraderie filled the air as our participants from 9 to 70 years fed their spirits with tales of the exploits of the Founders and the fundamentals of rifle marksmanship. Eleven of our participants were under 18 years old and formed a special bond immediately. Several of our participants were here representing the Desert Valley 4H Club and were a welcome addition that we hope to see more of in the near future.
Nine year old Greenly did fire in the Marksman range, several of the other youth fired in the Sharpshooter range, topped by Fernando (13) firing a 205 on the AQT. According to Adaptive Appleseed Rules, Jerry O. was our only Rifleman of the weekend firing a 230 on the AQT.
All of the participants and instructor Cadre were refreshed and inspired by the spirit of the fine folks that founded this great nation. We hope to see you all again,
Jerry
I one hundred percent agree! This was my first Appleseed event but definitely not my last! I have been telling people about it all day and even sporting the shirt around proudly! It is such a refreshing time to get around people that love America and the freedoms it was founded on! Thank you for all the training, patriotism, and camaraderie!

Jimmie Doss also took some video during our Memorial Volley on Saturday, but I'm having trouble uploading it. It may be too big, and the system may not be liking the MP4 format. :'(
Outstanding job as always guys! :---
Thanks for your dedication!
