AAR Saratoga Wyoming 21-22 April
Saturday AM - Drizzly, but the Mill fire is out! By the time we'd done the Pledge of Allegience and the safety briefing, the drizzle had quit. Our attendees were all out-of-state: 2 from Steamboat, 2 from Idaho Springs and 1 from Salt Lake. Only one had been to an Appleseed before. After the sun came out, the rest of the weekend was absolutely gorgeous - definitely the best April Appleseed weather I've seen in Wyoming.
You might have thought that Ruger was our sponsor, since everyone was using a 10/22. All but one were scoped.
Attendees were definitely there to improve their shooting, and they all did that. No-one shot a rifleman score, but Sara shot a 192 - highest score of the weekend.
Sara, Dave, Matt, Charley & Michael, you were all great and it was a pleasure to meet and work with you all. Persevere - a Rifleman patch awaits! Thank you all for coming and you're always welcome in Wyoming.
Thank you also to the Saratoga Gun Club for hosting us and special thanks to Beemer for going out of his way to help out. It's always a pleasure to work with you, John.
Thanks to all for making it a safe and special Patriots' Day event. PLEASE POST PHOTOS.......
