Project Appleseed thanks the Beaver Valley Rifle and Pistol Club for hosting us once again in 2018. This will be the tenth year that they have donated a range to the program to promote education in Rifle Marksmanship and Heritage.
It was a glorious weekend weather-wise. Forty-two percent of the students qualified as Riflemen, most of them multiple times. Five Redcoat targets were shot clean. Thanks to the students for their teachable attitudes and their persistence.
A big THANK YOU to Carmen for coming Saturday in period dress and giving a presentation on the equipment and dress of the "long-hunters" who roamed this area in 1775!
Finally, thanks to the all-star instructor crew, red and orange hats alike, for an outstanding job!
Great Shoot, Great Weekend, and Great Club. Cut my teeth in Appleseed at BVRPC and always hold a special place in my heart for the shoots we do there. This club is extremely dedicated to the 2nd Amendment and supporting ALL causes related as well as constantly improving and upgrading their facilities. Again thanks to BVRPC. Tremendous group of Patriots turned out with very teachable attitudes and the scores proved they knew what they were about. Weather was very spring-like for a change. Carmen and his presentation were for me a personal highlight of the weekend. I can not imagine carrying everything I need on my person for weeks at a time while trying to survive.
Many patches and numerous repeats.
Look into my eyes all of ye who earned a patch------ ORANGE HATS ARE IN YOUR FUTURE!!!!
Thanks to all including the shooters and my fellow instructors for a great weekend. Air-N was also outstanding with her presentations of Dangerous Old Patriots.
Peace,
Lee
Thanks again to the BVRPC, and the instructor crew for another great weekend. The weather was just about perfect considering the way that April started out here in western Pa. As a third time shooter, the instructors and the program always leave me wanting to come back for more. I would also like to agree with Lee's opinion that the dom stories were very well presented, great job. I know there was definite marksmanship inprovement, and hope there was a lot of personal inprovement spurred by hearing the stories of our heratige and the mission. And i can't shake this voice somewhere saying "tom, look deep into my eyes". Thank you all for what you do, tom
Great club, weekend and people.
Another great AS with great people.
Thank you BVRPC, instructors and fellow students.
THIS JUST IN! TomMPR has stepped up and taken an orange hat!!! Thanks, Tom! O0 ^:)^ O0 ^:)^
Welcome aboard, and thanks for stepping up. I hope that you enjoy the journey as much as I have. O0
