This was an incredible event! The weather was beautiful!! This was the first Ladyseed at Hurlburt Field - hopefully the first of many!! These ladies, most of them being beginners - having either not ever touched a rifle or firing a rifle only once or twice showed up with very teachable attitudes. All of these ladies made vast improvements which were reflected on the increasing AQT scores! Most improved was Amanda and Kristen -- both had amazing persistence! Day one started out a little slow and went a little later than planned, but even with that almost everyone showed up for day two. Day two moved at a much quicker pace and we were able to get in 5 AQT's. We have a new Riflewoman: Ashley, and a brand new orange hat: Kayla! Brandy and Kyla both did an amazing job calling the line!! Thanks to Janet and Bruce for making the long trip - and a special thank you to Chris for making the long one-day trip just to spend day one with us - I know that was a difficult trip to make -- especially for one day - I hope you know how much that is appreciated! As always, thanks to Ken and Lori for making the trip from Tallahassee, and thanks to our other local instructors Tim, Stanley, Wacky, Duane, and of course Chuck for getting everything set up and taking care of all of our rifle issues! The ladies also really enjoyed the awesome history and stories! Great weekend, Great shooting, Great people, Great cause! Liberty, Heritage, History and Marksmanship!!!

What a great shoot! So much progress was made on Saturday alone. I think the highlight for me was watching Jasmine go from holes all over the paper and total frustration, to beautiful tight groups and elation! A rifle change and some intense work on her position did wonders - great job Jasmine! Congrats Ashley on a job well done, and thanks so much Kayla for stepping up! Thank you to everyone for wonderful teachable attitudes that made my 10-hr round trip drive so totally worth it. Huzzah!
What a great ladyseed it was ! A full line of mostly inexperienced ladies in shooting but . . . what a bunch of teachable ladies willing to listen and try to do what we asked of them. Everyone of them improved tremendously even if only a few got enough points to score rifleman. Congratulations Ashley on scoring rifleman Sunday, great job. Kayla, glad you could make it back Sunday and scored rifleman a second time and take an orange hat ! I expect to see you again soon at Hurlburt helping us improve more shooters to greater things ! It is always an enjoyable time coming to hurlburt and working with some very special helpers (Tim, Stan, Duane, Brandy, Kayla, Wacky. Thank you Bruce and Janet for coming so far to help out in our eastern part of Florida, it was great to have you ! Chris, it was a pleasure to meet you and work with you Saturday. I admire your commitment to helping out And Also your church commitments ! A BIG thanks to Kim for putting on such an awsome ladyseed you did great !
A special thank you to Ken & Chuck for always being around to help with things that needed fixed and telling great stories and bringing out the brown bess and letting everyone shoot it until both it broke and flesh was burned ! If i missed anyone, sorry i appreciated everyone.
What a weekend! With a full line of primarily new shooters all instructors kept busy and all the ladies responded to their great instruction. At the end of day one they demonstrated all they learned, many exceeding their own expectations. I would like to thank all in attendance, instructors and shooters alike. A special thanks to Ken, Lori, Bruce, Janet and Chris I hope you enjoyed your weekend, I know I did.
Congratulation Ashley, a first time Appleseeder, shooting score on back to back AQT's, and to Kayla for earning her orange hat. I hope to see you both at many events to come. Kim you did an awesome job.
Having been an observer at many a Ladyseed, I declare this one "best Ladyseed ever". O0 O0
