This range really turns out some great teachable students & treats us all like family every time. This last shoot was no exception. Awesome steak dinner on their Big grill cooked by Chef Todd.
They have a Facebook page...check this out

Todd had an awesome idea re a special banner denoting our southernmost host range...
There are now 3 IITS in this area due to some traveling by dedicated instructors over a few years.
Thanks to all who have helped! Before we left, the club president was asking when Appleseed would be there again. There were quite a few over 200 scores knocking on the door in addition to the new riflemen & requal. Additionally, there is a request for Ladyseed.
Need to keep spreading Liberty south!
Your thoughts?
Ladyseed - yes!! Let's get one on the books this year RG! Wish I could have been there!
The range is going to get back to us on dates. This range has regular events every weekend of the year. In order to accomodate us, they have to cancel a club event.
I posted all the pics in the AAR.
Don't miss the final picture , Priceless.
It was great to get a shoot at my home range again and it was great to see you guys. Shooting is way more fun than working, but it's a sacrifice. Todd, thanks for the help getting the steak dinner done. I'd like to get that going as something of a tradition for future shoots.
Like Smoak said, we have to cancel a match to accommodate a shoot.
You can look at HRPC's calendar here. http://hrpclub.info/10.html
We had the last shoot on the 1st weekend, so that means the Sunday metallic sihlouette match had to be cancelled to make room. We've also cancelled the combat match for a shoot. The 3rd and 4th weekends are the "fun rifle" and "fun pistol" matches. They're the most popular matches, so it's tough to cancel them. If there's a 5th Sunday, that one is really special. That's the "Old Shooters" match where you get to shoot a match (most shoot pistols, but rifles are allowed and will be separated into their own class) then have a steak and beer afterwards. Our matches at HRPC are open to the public, but I also make a point of inviting all of Appleseed to come shoot a match.
If you can come up with some potential dates for Ladyseed, let me know and I can feel it out around the club before bringing it before the rest of the executive board. Same goes for the next Appleseed as well.
