I'm Applseed tired. I wanted to make sure the AAR was up so people could start posting. Later today I will update my post.
Thank you all,
Peter
Another wonderful event. A big thank you to all the people who helped out. It would not have been possible without you.
The food was fantastic. Snipette, Rascal and all the blue hats you are amazing. The shootboss had coffee and peanut treats all weekend. Huzzah!
Every IBC is like a family reunion. (without the beer and fights :) ) Old friends, new friends and a shared purpose.
Special thanks to: Steelthunder, Oz, ITB, D.O.M, Click, 3.dogs, Graywolf, BeeFree, Grindstone and number6.
Thank you to the models during 'Trouble shooting'. That is a painful job.
Thank you to all the IITs and Blue hats for spending a weekend going through the IBC grinder.
Congratulations to Haley Beth on her Orange hat, Missy15 on her RSO rating. Huzzah!
Thank you to the Border raiders from as far away as Texas. Ghostring your input was greatly appreciated.
2018 is going to be a great year. I'm very humbled to be a part of this organization.
See you on the Appleseed trail

Another great IBC!
Thanks to all who made it possible - and that means ALL of you who were there!
Amazing the amount of knowledge and patriotism I witnessed at my first IBC... Learned a lot!
What an incredible weekend! Very well organized - and FUN! I'll admit I wasn't sure what to expect arriving for my first IBC, but I quickly felt right at home. I am still in awe of the amount of knowledge that was shared, and all the incredible people I had the opportunity to meet and learn from. Having just donned an orange hat this past Fall, it's hard to imagine how many more AS events I would have had to attend before I covered everything that was packed into this IBC. There was a lot of information that I just don't think I could have grasped effectively on the firing line with my mind focused on safety and students.
As an IIT1 it was a huge boost of confidence to get 'hands-on' with all of the POI's. I "know what I need to know" now, and I got awesome advice on how I should be approaching it - whereas before last weekend my path to a red hat looked an awfully lot more intimidating.
Every single exercise was beneficial to me, but a few of the lessons were particularly eye-opening. The troubleshooting breakout, the IMC breakout, and the ‘anatomy of a strike' were invaluable learning opportunities that I just couldn't have gotten anywhere else. I'm excited to get back down on the mats and put what I learned to work. It's kind of a shame that the next event is two months away.
My advice to any new orange hat is that it would be a huge mistake to miss the IBC your first year. If you're committed to the path you started, and you're passionate about why you're doing it, then the IBC will be so empowering for you.
I want to take a moment to thank Superheat for your dedication which is really inspiring. I never got tired of listening to you up there! To all the other coordinators, shoot bosses, red hats and orange hats who contributed so much to this experience for all of us - thank you! To Snipette and Rascal21, thank you for keeping us organized and well fed - Applecore Huzzah! DragonMedic, thank you for sharing your knowledge - I'm glad I came up on Friday for your medical presentation which was excellent. And to the entire crew who was bunking overnight at the club - it was great hanging out with you all! I'll be looking forward to next year.

What an AWESOME weekend!!
Great instruction, great people and great food, I really don't know how it could have been better.
Thanks to the Michigan crew for hosting such a wonderful event; all of your work is truly appreciated.
Wow! I love seeing the awesome turn out.
I remember long ago, leaving my first IBC thinking this is where we really learn how to instruct, not realizing at the time it is so much more.
My thanks to all who participated, who taught, who set up, and ran logistics, etc. This was an amazing event.
