Another great weekend at the Flagler Gun & Archery Club in Bunnell Florida. The Flagler Club always provides a welcoming attitude for our Appleseed program.
Although it was a bit 'airish' starting out Saturday morning (35 degrees), the day turned out to be quite pleasant. Despite a slight drizzle early Sunday it ended up sunny and almost perfect by day's end.
Saturday also produced a solid performance by Rob who shot a 213 to gain his Rifleman's patch at his first Appleseed event. Congratulations Rob and good luck on starting your new Air Force career.
Ed was knocking at the door on Sunday with a solid 197 score (a great improvement over the weekend). He was also kind enough to show us his flintlock musket and give us a detailed explanation of its operation.
Dennis, another Appleseed first timer, showed steady gains both days and is looking forward to coming to the next event.
'rambo granny' scored a 244 using rimfire and 234 with centerfire. '9mm4545' had a 237 on RFAQT despite two jams and a 235 using centerfire.
Thanks again to all three attendees and to 9mm4545, rambo granny, TomM1Thumb and grunt for all their super instructing efforts.
