Title: CZ527 Bore guide
Post by: airplanejoe on January 13, 2018, 12:58:23 PM
I need assistance locating a bore guide for a CZ527, caliber 7.62x39. So far I've been using a "snake", but with groups opening up maybe it needs a more traditional cleaning.

Thanks

Possum hollow lost bore guides for the cz 527 but not in 7.62x39, but they do make custom guides.

Here are a few quotes that I found over on Rimfire Central from 2015:

"For the 527 models, I use bore guides from Mike Lucas for both the .223 and 7.62x39 models. Both have worked well for me."

"I use the bore guides produced by Mike Lucas. Pro shot stainless guide rods for me (best prices I've seen are on Amazon). I threw away all my Dewey rods after having issues with them. Well known in the BR community. He is kind of old school. No website or anything. Email him at lucasmjb@windstream.net. Send him check/USPS MO and he usually produces batches once a month."
