Nine shooters came out on a beautiful weekend for a two-day Appleseed Marksmanship event. Temperatures were between 65ºF and 72ºF both days.
A couple returning Appleseeders brought friends or family, for a total of three pairs of fathers and sons.
We had one returning Rifleman (Chris D.), two new Rifleman (Marc S., Joe P.), and two MD Front Sight patch recipients for clearing a RedCoat (Marc S., Joe P.).WhyToo (age 10) was my youth "walk-on". He almost cleared a RedCoat, getting Cpt. Morgan's Shingle, but missing one 400 yds shot.
This weekend saw several Rifleman scores:
Marc S.: 220, 226, 220, 228, 213, 233
Joe. P: 210, 213, 213, and
Chris D.: 213, 215, 210,
... with all three clearing a RedCoat.
Many thanks to:
* AAFG for continued use of their Small Bore range & support of MD Appleseed
* ABCGarand and ColdWarrior for their instruction
* All our safe and teachable attendees
Thanks again everyone and I hope to see you all again soon on the path to gunlightenment.
V/R,
