Title: Leyden Rifle Club, Leyden MA 10/7-8/17
Post by: goodpiper on October 09, 2017, 12:31:48 PM
A big thanks once again to the Leyden Rifle Club for the use of their range, and to Elwin for making it look grreat.  O0

Saturday brought out seven shooters with a 63 year age spread (11 - 74). Everyone worked diligently, and as the day progressed more "lights" came on. Early afternoon brought a light intermittent mist for half an hour (it actually felt good). By the end of the day everyone had a pretty good idea as to what needed to be worked on.

Sunday we had three shooters back, and steady rain for the first part of the morning. I thought it wouldn't last long so after we got started we went over the Battle of Bennington, and Saratoga (with the Bennington Rifleman's song for good measure). The day continued kind of soggy till the afternoon, but by the end of the day everyone's groups began to come together. While no one got a patch, the left knowing what to work on for the next one.

Thanks also to ralph33 for his help! It made everything easier.
