What started off as a pleasant Fall day in Florida on Saturday turned into a floating firing line on Sunday. I have to give full credit to the tenacity and perseverance of the shooters on the line. In typical Colonial democratic fashion, given the choice of packing it in or waiting for the rain to let up they chose the third option of diving in for another AQT. No one was able to bring in a Rifleman score but they all proved they have the grit to make it happen! Despite the challenges it was a safe and productive event. Sunday also featured cameo appearances by State Coordinator B.C, Bill o Rites and Nomadichillbilly with his dog "Fred." Here follows some pictures. In addition to all the fun and games we managed to promote Sieggie to Instructor!
Well done! Huzzah!
Good times! Wet times! As Dennis said above the students showed true grit shooting in the rain, at one point I saw a few mats actually floating. I would say that persistence was in abundance last weekend in Palm Bay. The instructors were wonderful and all went very well. Also a BIG congratulations to Florida's newest red hat Sieggie, well done indeed sir! I hope to see you all again soon my friends.
