We were a small group but mighty! :F
Thanks all who braved the heat (for Michigan) and made our event so fun. 6 fine Americans came out to either learn or refine their marksmanship and talk about the heroic events of April 19, 1775.
Congrats to Lauren, who, after 4 Appleseeds punched through and earned her Rifleman patch. That purple will look good on you. And to Jackson -- who went from little experience on a rifle to consistently scoring Rifleman scores on Sunday. And of course Peter who came from "not being a gun guy" and little/no experience on a rifle to several times scoring in the 180's. Wow. Kevin showed us he's still got it...no matter how old and decrepit he is ;D Denise and Amy -- great seeing you again and can't wait for our next event to keep working on those scores. And Amy -- glad we "solved" your fidgeting problem, even if we had to duct tape your limbs to the mat to do it. :cool2:
Thanks for your good questions and attentive manner during the history. Hope you love that story as much as we do.

That's hilarious!
Maybe we should add that to the instructor manual under "special cases". ;D
Excellent event! Tons of technics and tons of fun with outstanding history! O0
The mag change drill was a real nice addition to the other exercises.
See ya next time guys! :snipersmi
What a great event! Small but mighty, indeed. I don't know where to begin, so I guess I'll just go left to right...
Lauren, congratulations on earning your patch! Peter--seriously, you haven't shot since you were 12 and you were shooting 180s on Sunday? Kevin, you've been a great LBOTG with the club and proved once again you can shoot a Rifleman score, even if you must be running out of room at the house for patches! Amy, with the effort you are putting in, you know you're going to get there--even without the duct tape! See you at Dorr! Jackson, you did a fantastic job and can be proud of your accomplishment! We look forward to seeing you again. And Denise, I'm so glad you were able to come on Saturday!
Thanks also to Watervliet, a great host club, and to the Watervliet youth shooters for a cookout lunch on both days! Cooked over charcoal, no less!
ST2, thanks for letting me hold your coat, and Rascal21, thanks for coming down and providing desperately needed adult supervision! Now...where are those pictures?
I hope to see each of you on the line again soon!

It never ceases to amaze me that I learn something new every time I attend Appleseed. I love the history lessons! Thanks for letting be a "walk on" on Saturday. It was so good to see you all again!
