Well, the Black Hills of South Dakota were winding down from the Sturgis motorcycle rally noise, but four shooters from the area kept the neighbors around Southern Hills Tactical from taking peaceful naps over the weekend! The weather was really cooperative with mild temps and just a gentle breeze. Saturday looked like rain several times but it never materialized and we only had to pause for a couple of airplanes as the range is close to an airport. We had some shooters around the 200 score by the end of the weekend, and we learned a lot of the events which happened on the day "the shot was heard 'round the world." Many thanks to Mike and Shelly of Southern Hills Tactical for the use of their nice facility, and to the patriotic citizens who attended. Thanks to Mike and Derek for instructional help and we were pleased to be invited back for a future shoot.
