And the HITS just keep on coming…
WOW, what a great shoot. I never get tired of saying that.
We had 16 shooters that spanned every available metric. Great-Grandma's to a new 13 year old Rifleman; USMC Marksman to summer graduate students counting,,,,, counting,,,, whatever it is that the (original) BLM counts. News reporters, to a State Representative. You know,, "the usual". Quite the diverse bunch., and it all worked.
It's Alaska,, let's do this thing…..
Saturday started a tad slow, and with a hint of rain, (duh, I'm Shoot Boss,, how can it not rain?). The weekend progressed almost perfectly though. What a great weekend.
Saturday was the usual work-out and scored us one Rifleman, a young man well known to us, and it was a pleasure to get him over "the hump". Zeke W.
At age 13 he is in a 4-way tie for Alaska's youngest Rifleman!
A long and demanding Saturday ended,, and the "smart one's" took advantage of Hogfamily and MRS. HOGFAMILY's hospitality and stayed at the BnB. Just sayin.. Tell Mrs H. THANK YOU!!! X1000
Sunday,
LETS' ROCK, and we did: all that was missing was a sound-track: "The AQT is about attitude,, people!! Kick this thing's A**!!!"
3 more Riflemen, 5 AQT's, plus a cute/fun decompress. Congrats "Team Left" . Everything is working, this is how it is supposed to be, we are hitting on all cylinders…..
It's over TOO soon. I'm exhausted, you're exhausted, we left it all "on the field". Gawd it is so hot. 77F is hot. Really.
If you are going to shoot an exact 210 and get baptized with North Bridge water; this was the weekend to do it. Congrats John and David.
This is what Appleseed is supposed to be, this is what America is supposed to be.
Thank you, Cadre
