Thanks to Ed and Klint for arranging for yet another outstanding Shoot at the Logan's Ferry Sportsmen's Club. Next time maybe they can do something about the inch of rain we received Saturday morning. Luckily the range had just had work done to it and it drained very quickly and we proceeded onward and upward. With a little adaptation and quick work by the outstanding Instructors, the backers and targets were rehung while The First Strike was presented and allowed things to dry out a bit. Great group of students, great attitude and quick learners.
Redcoats were cleared by Daniel, Michael (2 times) and Bryce (3 times). Ben qualified Sunday afternoon with Michael and Bryce re-qualifying yet again. Hopefully Texas T will post some of his quality pictures of everyone's accomplishments.
Just a wee bit of rain, but not letting that get the best of us, we waited it out while making good use of the time...
Bryce opened the day with an outstanding performance taking care of the Redcoat...
Wanting to know about the "secret sauce", the rest of the group paid close attention...
Not long after, it was dry enough to move the instruction out into the open...
Before long, it was time to learn about the AQT...
Mid-afternoon allowed time for some history...
By the end of the day, we had another sharpshooter taking out another Redcoat...
As we moved through Sunday, three scored Riflemen on the AQT...
What is a day without hearing about some Dangerous Old Men (and women)...
Three young men (our future) stuck it out, through wet, dry and hot...
And at the end of the day, one had even cleared a Redcoat, putting it all together with amazingly tight groups. Great shooting...

Once again, many thanks to the range for hosting a great event. Hope to be back soon.
