Title: New Bremen, NY June 3-4 2017
Post by: Grumpy1 on June 05, 2017, 10:54:13 PM
Great weather welcomed 9 eager students to New Bremen Fish and Game Club.

Students worked on 25m zeros, and then we headed over to the Known Distance Range.

Students obtained zero, and feedback at each distance. Once Students had their DOPE we shot our Full Distance AQT.  Gusty, and changing wind patterns became an apparent problem for students.

Sunday brought the return of 7 students, forcasted rain, and threat of thunderstorms. We started the morning at 25m, and after some discussion, we decided to work on some fundamentals , before heading over to the 100 yard range.
We decided to hang some steel, and give each student an opportunity to engage it in their choice of position.
We worked on reconfirming zeros and gathering data.
Around 1400, the rain moved in and we decided to call it a Day...

Thanks to My Instructors, Dude, Keith1, and kimbers.

Thanks to Grumpy1 for pulling this shoot together, and successfully carrying out the mission: developing riflemen.  ~~:) ~~:)

All shooters, most of who had already qualified, were experiencing various challenges, not the least of which was the variable wind; yet they persevered and improved their skills. Particularly, they learned more about their rifles.

And, kudos to Chris-highest KD score- and Pat for highest score on the steel. O0 O0
