Almost like being at an AS event.
Only better, with drill sergeants yelling at you telling you you're screwing up, beat your face, and wacking you in the Kevlar with a cleaning rod O0
Sort of reminds me of the first appleseeds, with Fred strongly encourageing students to get their knee up with a push on the boot!!!

As an old retired Army Scout who RSOed and was Range OIC (you call shoot boss) many ranges from 5.56 to 152mm (yes, 152mm Sheridan main gun), a bit of stress is more realistic training for those time when the targets shoot back.
You have a lot of excellent information and train shooters very well. My question, what is a 'come up'? Have not heard that phrase and I thought I heard em all.
add 50, drop 50, add one target form, drop one target form, apply BOT, short, long, but no 'come up'.
Perplexed in Punta Gorda,

Hi Scott,
A "come up" is the amount of adjustment you must add to your sights to adjust for bullet drop between distances. The rule of thumb for the M1 Garand for example would be 3-3-3-4, from 100-200 yards and 3 MOA, 200-300 add another 3 MOA, 300-400 add another 3 MOA, 400-500 add another 4 MOA.
Thank you for your service and welcome to Appleseed,
Chuck
