The Gilliand family from Alaska could use your help funding the competition expenses for their daughter Grace.
Grace, showing the dedication and persistence that truly marks her as a Rifleman, has earned a position on the the U.S. Biathlon Team to compete at the Youth/Junior Biathlon World Championships in Osrblie, Slovakia in late February, but her family is unable to financially cover the expenses required.
The Gilliand family has been a proponent of Appleseed, with many of their children (Grace included) having attended events. Grace's sister, Mariah, volunteered to be an Instructor-In-Training, but other commitments have taken her away from us.
While it isn't discussed in the GoFundMe request (linked below), Grace's father has been struggling with cancer, and has recently been laid off from his job.
Please, let us help this young Riflewoman get to Slovakia!

I wish their family all the best, both in the realm of biathlon and also in the struggle to regain good health. Sounds like they've got quite a journey ahead.
Donation made. Make us proud in Slovakia.
