Great weekend at Black Creek in Virginia! The weather was perfect. The range width necessitated shooting in flights, and this was the first time many of us have had the opportunity to do this at an AS. It went extremely well. We were able to provide additional coaching to shooters in one flight while the other flight was shooting. Also, during the prone stage of the AQT's, one of our instructions told the stories of DOM. He had to break the stories up and repeat them, but it saved time as well as kept the participants actively engaged. Great use of time! One of the best parts of the weekend -- the shooters. This group listened well and worked hard to use the techniques they learned. It showed in the improvement of the shooting over the weekend. We have another new Rifleman (score 216) - great job. One of our orange hats received her red hat - congratulations Mrs. Monkey! We also have a new green hat - Oddsreven. Thanks to all of the shooters who made this weekend a delight.
Congrats to our new rifleman. O0
