WOW, what a weekend. The weather was almost perfect. Saturday was great, shooters were having a great time. The scores kept going up. Very attentive shooters. Sighting in took some time, but we GOT it. we all watched some clouds come in over the mountains. It was very pretty. OOOHHHHH BOY, then the lightning started and the rain came. within  3 minutes we were drenched and the awnings, tables and chairs decided they didn't want to keep us company any more. they all blew about 75 yards and one canopy was destroyed. so, we cleaned up and went home.
Sunday was a beautiful sunny day with blue skies and 4 wispy clouds. the range was very muddy but we persevered. Recap and sighting in was done in minutes, literally. That's when the fun really started. The shooters wanted to do nothing but AQTs. so, we did. woohoo. 2 new riflemen and one with a 206 score. unfortunately, his loaner rifle had to go. One shooter was having trouble with his scope and he wanted to stop. due to heat and rifles we called it a day.
