Saturday morning dawned hot and humid for the Maryland instructor Cadre and 23 dedicated Americans determined to earn a Riflemans score. We had our hands full running two relays and tending to the needs of our shooters. The instructors met the challenge and provided excellent instruction throughout the weekend. Several were on their knees most of the time making sight adjustments and helping the students fine tune thier shooting skills. Speaking of fine tuning shooting skills, congratulations to Pate L. who repeated a perfect 250 score! Huzzah! Several of our returning Applessed Riflemen requalified as Rifllemen, and Perrin L. shot a 245! New Riflemen were Josh with a 218, Lea M. witha 226, and Michael L. witha 228. Young Adam T. made steady improvement throughout the weekend and is looking forward to his next Appleseed. We had several shooters clear the Redcoat target to earn the coveted Maryland front sight patch. Catgravity put on his Red Hat and Doug K stepped up to take an orange hat. Great weekend for all!
