I just bought 800 of these from the reloading dealer at my local SAXET. That was all he had in this caliber. I hope to get more from him next month on this order of magnitude. Anyway, I checked MidwayUSA when I got home, and they were selling for only 10 cents less. Granted, I paid tax for this buy, but to get to walk home with them in hand was good. Anybody have any experience with these bullet heads? No powder at home as it is on the way via BROWN alongside some primers.
Winchester has been one of the vendors making M193 Ball ammo for the US Military. These bullets are almost certainly what they were using. I'd say it's a decent bullet, for a decent price.
As to Winchester bullets in general, they're good.
