The second annual Appleseed was held at the Fall River Gun Club range north of Maverick Junction near Hot Springs, SD with less than desirable weather conditions, although as we always say, "It could have been worse!" Saturday was fair but Sunday was 42 degrees with about a ten mile per hour breeze, no sun, and a few raindrops-dang cold!!
We had ten shooters to start the weekend, and five hardy souls returned on Sunday to experience what was offered. Two new riflemen were honored with high scores on the AQT.
Our thanks to the club for hosting this event and we thank them for their help and for providing a very good lunch on both days. I am happy to report that we have been welcomed to return in the future for another seed.
Sounds like you were close to having a Winterseed in May! Two new riflemen being made is always a good thing.
Where are the pictures?
I know Derek made Rifleman - Who was the other??
Congratulations to both of them!
