On a warm desert weekend in April 5 people came in as individuals and joined an event run by a rusty Appleseed Shootboss and two Instructors.
They enjoyed harassing encouragement to Hydrate, and very good instruction on their marksmanship. They heard the story of the sacrifices that occurred on April 19 1775. Of the birth of a nation, and of the Heritage that some think lost.
On Sunday afternoon a Rifleman was exposed to the celebration of the the others. That he scored 210 on the dot...required he be embraced with the symbolic water of the North Bridge. For he was good enough to be in the company of Riflemen.
Thus are the recollections of Paxx the rusty Shootboss in the the desert.
Congratulations to our newest Rifleman and thanks to the 5 that came out to make this AS a worthy event. Well done my friends, well done! We hope to see you all back again soon!
