What a great weekend. A sold out shoot, gorgeous weather, 19 Boy Scouts, parents and multiple other fine Americans (total of 30) out for a weekend in commemoration of Patriot's Day.
It was great to see so many people come out to shoot and hear some great history. We had several people posting great scores in the 170-190 range...looking forward to seeing you all back to cross the Rifleman line. Everyone's marksmanship improved greatly as can be seen by the Redcoat scores dramatically getting better from Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon. I especially appreciate the attention and great questions we got from people during our history lessons.
We had a great time firing 2 Brown Besses and the Memorial Volley at 4 pm was a lot of fun...37 people firing a mix of .22LRs with a smattering of Garands, AR15s, a SCAR17 and 2 Brown Bess muskets. Very moving.
Thanks to Austin and Andrew for stepping up to become AppleCore. Now...pick a name and get to work!

I agree with Kris! You guys were AMAZING! I hope you had as much fun as we did! I took a TON of pictures, so I won't post them all, but check out our facebook page for all of them! Thanks everyone for coming out! I had a great time, it was one year ago today i was finishing up my first shoot and at that point i realized that the program was calling to me. I asked for a blue hat and wore it for half of the next event before i took an orange hat with a score of exactly 210. I am honored to be a part of this program and to meet all of you. I hope to see you in the future.
I had a great time this weekend. ^:)^ As always it was great working with the instructor core and it was also great to see so many shooters. I took a million pictures, but I can't convert them to the right sized file to post them, because I don't have the right computer software. I'm really sorry about that. :'( Hurrah for our new Applecore volunteers. O0 Can't wait to work with you guys. ~~:) Can't wait to see everybody at the next shoot.
