The Minnesota 2016 Appleseed season started with a Winterseed at the Oakdale Gun Club located in Lake Elmo MN. The weather while cold was relatively pleasant by Minnesota standards, highs in the upper 30's and it wasn't snowing. O0 We had good attendance with eleven shooters on the line and five instructors for a pretty good ratio of instructors to students so despite the fact it was only a one day event the afternoon redcoat tally showed dramatic improvement. We also generated two recipients of the much coveted Winterseed Patch, Chris Chandler is Minnesota's newest Rifleman, we hope to see him again on the AS trail.
