I use dummy .22 for the ball and dummy drill.  Here is where I get it.  https://www.mfgservs.com/training-ammo-kit/round-safe-no-printing

How durable is the case rim after being struck by the firing pin many times?

Do they ever fail to feed when loaded automatically after the live shot?

I use #4 drywall anchors, which will feed from everything but tube-fed rifles - but these look to be about the same price, and are likely flat on the back without the center hole that the anchors have, which means they should feed from a tube.  I like!

If you are looking for custom chamber flags for any reason, theirs are top notch.  I've had one in my freezer for probably a year and attempt to break it every so often, to no avail.  It's the larger "big bore" style.

I use them over and over with no ftf or fte problems that I've seen.
