This was the 2nd of two shoots at the West Bend Barton Sportsman Club this year. We had a total of 10 participants and 4 instructors come out with the long distance award going to the two shooters who traveled from Green Bay.
The instructors did a great job from range set up to instruction and passing on the fundamentals of marksmanship and history and helping me out as a SBIT. Thank you Bill, Joe and Tom.
This was kinda a quiet group with some Appleseed experience already in them that let us move along at a rapid pace. We shot our first AQT before lunch and gained two new rifleman. After lunch we had three more shooters qualify as rifleman!
the five other shooters were all over 200.
With over 170 rounds down range everyone's gear held up very well...great job on maintaining your equipment to all.
History was great and taken well by all....it's great to see that we all increased our knowledge thus making our communities a richer place to live in.
I thank God for a great day and putting me where he see's fit
