We had a great group of shooters on Saturday. The weather was near perfect and everyone showed immediate improvement in their groups after we went through the steady hold factors and six steps to firing a shot. I think the time constraints in the afternoon caused a few shooters to get anxious and lose focus on securing their Natural Point of Aim so our groups suffered a little. I'm confident we'll make more progress on Sunday. I was encouraged by everyone's positive attitude and persistence. Everyone was a quick learner and our preparation times went very quickly because there wasn't a lot of fussing around. Consequently, our round count on Saturday was a whopping 286.
Great job everyone! I'm hopeful that Sunday will bring us one or two new riflemen. I'll post some pictures and more comments after Sundays shoot!
What a great day on Sunday. Seven shooters and FOUR RIFLEMEN!!! Actually, three riflemen and one rifle woman. Congratulations to Sue, Aaron, Caleb, & Logan!
It is rare for someone to score rifleman on their first Appleseed but these four all did it. Two shooters cleared the Redcoat at the end of the day on Sunday as well. Kudos to everyone for their hard work and dedication!
I'll post pictures later this evening or sometime early next week.
Here are some pictures.

What a great looking event. I love the pictures. Congratulations to our 4 new Riflemen!! OUTSTANDING! Thanks, as always, to our amazing instructor crew and to Southwest Wisconsin Sportsmen Club for hosting us.
