Thanks to all the shooters for making this such a rewarding event for the instructor staff. The safety was great and we were able to get through all instruction as planned. The hot weather that was expected was tempered by cloud cover and a cool breeze on Saturday, which was a relief for all. Sunday was a bit warmer for sure. The scores were looking really good by Saturday PM and I thought that we might see Brendan shoot his Rifleman score on Sunday. After clearing the redcoat target ^:)^, Brendan went on to shoot some nice AQTs. Vinnie brought out a very large map that made a great addition to the presentation of the three strikes on Saturday. I remember back to my first Appleseed how difficult it was to envision where all of the events were occurring around midnight and how far inland the red coats marched. Thanks Vinnie!

I want to extend a sincere THANKS to all of you who came out this weekend! Each of you put your hearts and minds into it, and made improvements as you took put all of our instruction to the test . It's a LOT of information, I know.
I think you'll find those bits and pieces come together even more for you when you go back to the range to practice. If you haven't done so yet, consider taking a few minutes to check out those handouts we gave you when you checked in--they'll help keep some of those details fresh in your mind.
