OK, here we go! What a beautiful Wyoming weekend. Sunny and temps in the mid 90's on Saturday. 10 patriots began the day with the usual safety rules and safe rifle drill. Followed by the redcoats. Even though there were many return students, the day began slow. many 1" squares were taken down by this bunch. While this was going on, the local television station sent their weekend anchor out to film a story for the evening news here is the linkhttp://www.kcwy13.com/home/headlines/Hitting-The-Mark-Appleseed-Marksmanship-Clinic-323341561.html (http://www.kcwy13.com/home/headlines/Hitting-The-Mark-Appleseed-Marksmanship-Clinic-323341561.html). By the end of the day there was a show of improvement. We were glad to see all of the youngsters present!
Sunday was another great day here in WY. The wind finally made an appearance, however did not affect shooting. Only lost 2 students from Saturday, so things progressed much faster. We actually introduced a young lady to the shooting sports, she had never touched a firearm in her life. I think we may have awakened a monster ( we will follow her progress). I want to thank the Instructor Corp for making this event a great success. M1bzrk, rocket, pine ridge puma, BEEMER, rasputin, pewpewpew, wildman57, ndeining, and marathongirl. With this team this event went smoothly, and we were able to give some individual attention to the young ones. Pictures will be posted soon, and feel free to add your thoughts as well.
See you on the next line!!
