Title: Lexington Park Ladyseed; May 16, 2015
Post by: brickhouse on May 18, 2015, 12:59:23 PM
A special thank you to the Sanner's Lake Sportman's Club (SLSC) for hosting the event.

A line of 12 plucky ladies gave lie to any perception that Ladyseed's are slow. The day ended with two Rifleman, a cleared Redcoat, twelve tired shooters, six exhausted instructors,  and three new hats- one blue, one colored orange and the other red. Wait, wait, wait, some of these folks were counted more than once.  :)

I would be remiss if I did not mention the efforts of Erica,  MD's newest Blue hat, who kept the zombie army at bay with consistent shots to their cranial area. (You gotta get them in the head ya' know. )

Deb Rey, a delegate representing district 29B in the Maryland House of Representatives, was also in attendance- getting sweaty with all the other gals on the line. If I recall correctly (and I think I do), she had a score or two approaching rifleman qualification. I think we will see her again another 'seed; She has no choice but to come back and earn that elusive patch.

El_Cid gave the history extra relevance by providing details and anecdotes from his recent trip to Battle Road. And at the end of the day, received his Red Hat from navybowhunter. Congratulations!

Chris (navybowhunter) was kept busy calling the line in the morning but managed to take lots of pics as well.  You can see them here

Another thanks to SLSC and to all the folks who made this a great event.
