Greetings Appleseeders!
Here's your chance to show support for a fellow Appleseeder. This spring my son, Dirk Seymour, aka ROLAND entered a photo contest sponsored by SWFA. His photo has been selected as a finalist and the winner (and other rankings) is determined by voting. Voting ends midnight April 30, so there is still time to vote. Since this contest is all about photos of shooting, shouldn't Appleseed weigh in? Even if you don't vote for Roland, I encourage you to weigh in as members of the shooting community. Still undecided? Then I encourage you to read this AAR and remember why we are involved in Appleseed http://appleseedinfo.org/smf/index.php?topic=45156.0
Surely you are ready to vote now, so why not support a fellow Appleseeder? Dirk shot his first Rifleman score at 14, where he picked up the Orange Hat under Shoot Boss Reformed Redneck. He's been at it ever since, got the Red Hat at 16 and still comes home from college to give his ole man a hand at shoots whenever he can.
Here is the link to the SWFA voting site- http://swfa.com/ContestEntries.aspx
You will receive an email from SWFA to confirm your vote. This is the actual vote, so please respond to the email. I've been on SWFA's email list for over a year, and they never send notices other than really good sales! So please don't think they are spamming you. It is a reputable company as many shooters can attest.
Thank you for your support.
EERT and proud Dad.

Thank you for your support! He's currently in 6th place and about 10 votes out of 5th!
Keep it up on this last day and maybe he can bump a slot.

Thanks for all the support, folks! It's the last day of voting and I wouldn't be near this high placing without your help

Well, I ended up in 6th place, and won a Sightron 8-32x scope. That... I don't have much use for, and would be glad to sell to a fellow Appleseeder if there is interest!
Thank you all for the help, I couldn't have placed near as high without all the support!
See you all on the trail,
Dirk/Roland
