Great weekend.  One new instructor, four new riflemen; three more shooting in the 200-209 range, and pretty much everyone else in the mid-100s.

Some notes from the weekend:

We had about six shooters that went from not being on paper at all to shooting actual scores, most in the mid-100s. One of these guys showed up and was not actually able to shoot his rifle. By the end of the weekend, he was shooting AQTs in the 170 range.

b!rdd0g nearly made me miss church. Brought out his new 308 bolt to shoot AQTs on Sunday afternoon, and woke everyone on the the line with the compensator, and then showed how a Riflemen uses the AQT, and the whole line came alive, and people quit chasing the score, and started using it to build skills and master their rifles. Had to chase them off the range, and I barely made it home in time to change.

Daisy. Her dad first brought her out a year ago when she was nine years old, and hromero basically spent the weekend baby sitting her. This year, she shot the entire weekend, and was shooting in the high 100s. Making transitions and all. Rocking it.

And the mud was sandy, and didn't stick to your feet, and no one got stuck driving in.  Good weekend.
