Title: Ramseur 3-15 boot camp
Post by: Engineer shooting on April 05, 2015, 02:38:12 PM
Want to make it easy to run your first RBC at Ramseur? Get PHenry, DrJohn, Kardiak Kid, Lucky Lori, and Polonius to help!  Shooters ranging from 10 to 77, many first time Appleseeders and a large contingent of Ramseur 2-12 alumni, HUZZAH!

With 18 shooters on the line at the end of the week we had 100% Riflemen and Riflewoman. All that were not IITs accepted the Orange Hat. If was officially voted by students and staff at the closing ceremony to be "Best RBC ever!"

Hard to sum up six days with a single post.  One of my key life changing events.

What a privilege to attend Ramseur 3-15!  Engineer Shooting had a great crew and we reaped many benefits.  Shooting improved and learned lots about teaching and running a shoot.  But most importantly made many new friends who value liberty.  It was an honor to be with all the instructors and fellow shooters!

As I stumbled from my tent after a rather chilly first night my path crossed with Fred who was most gracious and gave me strong words of encouragement.  That was a positive omen for the week and it just got better and better.

I came home better equipped and more determined to help Appleseed and our Country!

Great job Engineer Shooting, PHenry, Dr. John, Lucky Lori, and Polonius this was a great RBC....I wonder what the "B" students were doing last week? We had great shooters, all with teachable attitudes and many have become better Americans.

QuoteFred who was most gracious and gave me strong words of encouragement.
Are you sure that was Fred?  ^-^

Yes, it was a great event for sure and also nice to see Fred on day one. I know he is very busy right now.

To all of the great Americans who attended - it was an honor to meet and work with each of you. I pray our paths cross again soon. Huzaaaah!

To thems who considered attending, but decided not to - you missed out huge! Opportunity missed is opportunity lost.

Cost to leave my business for a week+ - pricey. Value received - beyond price!  ^:)^

What a great RBC!  Thanks are not enough to express my gratitude for the efforts of the volunteers who took a week out of their lives to teach us to be better marksmen, instructors and storytellers.  It was very inspiring!  What a treat to be amongst the company of men and women who know very well what they're about.  Huzzah!!!

Sorry to take so long to let Engineer Shooting and the rest of his staff hear from me.  You provided a learning experience that I will build on for a long time and I met many that will always remain friends.  Lori I will seldom forget to remove my chamber flag.  Appleseed teaches the value of principles that are being lost and should be reaffirmed constantly.  The rifleman training taught me that I was not nearly to shooter I thought I was and that is my challenge to "get with the program".  Hope to spend time with many of you in the future
