So what did you do for Valentine's Day? For 22 budding patriots in Florida, the answer was obvious: Go to an Appleseed!
The day started out chilly (for Florida, that is), but by noon it was in the high 60s, dry and clear. A perfect day for shooting. This was a new bunch of shooters that included three adaptive shooters. And it's a good thing they were there: They outshot everyone else. And, yes, we did have a large family that did not show up because of "the cold."
One minor injury: An older shooter ran down range to check a target and pulled a leg muscle (but he's recovering nicely, he says).
A very safe shoot, lots of good attitudes, good storytelling, and good shooting.
The only two shooters to make the score were -- drum roll please -- two of our adaptive shooters -- Brian and Scherri! But the others will be back in April.
What a romantic way to spend V -Day! O0
