I think some of us here may appreciate this!

QuoteAt $699 a piece, these guns are reasonably priced, if you are someone who wants a unique, good looking .22 that would be all the rage at an Appleseed shoot. Many will find that seven hundred dollars is too much for a .22, but I honestly was surprised the price was so low given the high quality of the wood and the 4140 receivers made in-house.

That cool but price is steep. Wonder if sights work the same. I want the sight.

Even tech sights could be better.

If it's a 10/22 action sitting in a replica Garand or M14, I want one. Drop in some upgraded trigger parts, and there's a Cadillac which will not be a loaner rifle.

Only if the sights are usgi style/compatible. Otherwise that very expensive  stock. $200 for 1022 $500 for stock and sights. But if sights are usgi then value is there. My opinion.

Here's one I made a few years ago.  Used a beat up Garand stock and a few out of spec parts  and some lead weight to simulate the feel of a Garand. It Looks more like a "tanker" than a full size but it was the only .22 at Ramsuer that could participate in the bayonet charge after the AQT was shot! It's cool to see somebody making this.  Steve

I can' help but thinking- "but for the same price, you could get- A GARAND!" But it is pretty.

Like usual, I'm reading through the coverage of all the cool new things at SHOT, muttering "...don't need it, don't want it, don't need it, why bother, don't want it, who the hell thought of that, don't want it...", and there suddenly on page 3- WANT!!

Polymer stripper clips for the K31!!  ^:)^

If it turns out to be reliable and accurate enough, I'm just gonna ask- where do I get in line for one?

MSRP is $700... Hopefully they will be available for $100-150 below MSRP.  I bet hawkeye will agree that f you factor in how much labor and materials it would take to make one of these yourself, it is worth the money if that's what you want.
