I snapped a couple pics I thought you guys might find interesting. Both the M14, and M1 take 10-22 mags, and have a retail price right at 700.

A bit pricey, but you can't beat the look. Review is sure right about one thing - bring one of those to a shoot and you'll have everyone including the instructors coveting it.
