As Saturday morning dawned cold and damp, we gazed out over the shallow lake that constituted the walk between the firing line and the target line. While the shooters had a relatively dry place to shoot from, the trip downrange was water-over-the-shoes wet. Unfortunately, most did not bring waterproof footwear and the thought of trench-foot came to mind. With eight young boys and three adults we plugged ahead and did the best we could. By Sunday there was definite improvement but nobody would come close to a Rifleman score. Perhaps next time... Photos may be forthcoming as I did see some photos being taken.
