The shoot at Hollywood Rifle and Pistol Club certainly made this instructor proud. The impressive improvements were all due to the fine efforts of a great group of students and instructors. As the overall shooting improved and the uncomfortable became tolerable, we knew that Riflemen would be revealed--and so they were! The youngest, Danni, showed what grit, determination, and persistence can accomplish as she shot like a girl and showed the fabled AQT who was boss. George, with the high score of the weekend did not just beat the AQT, he crushed it with an astounding 246. That is some good shooting! It might been the first Appleseed for Alan but this man knows well what he is about as he posted solid scores repeatedly on the AQT. Donna, aka "Sid", aka "Buffy", still has it and re-qualified with no problem. Al would not quit and his persistence paid off with success and a respectable Rifleman score. Derek quietly went about applying the teachings of Appleseed with great persistence and was rewarded with a nifty Rifleman patch and several rousing "attaboys!". To everyone who did not quite make The Score, keep after it, as Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods, and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as Rifleman should not be highly rated. Practice perfectly and you will be amazed at the results. What a great time had by all I want to thank Chuck and his new feminine following we really enjoyed time spent with yall and I am looking forward to the next one ! We produced Rifleman and women and Young Lady instructors and the fruits from this shoot are yet to be seen But I am excited for all of our futures together!

One of the things I love about shoots in Hollywood is how serious the shooters are. There's real commitment there. Every shooter on the line knows his or her rifle. I don't doubt they all will be riflemen.
The club is an oasis in the middle of the suburban sprawl that is south Florida. And how many shoots can you go to and see a goat?

It was my first Appleseed and it was a great experience. The facility was excellent (it rained and we had roof covered). The instructors were awesome!
