I have just started what will be an irregular series of articles about sight/scope adjustment and zeroing on my blog, 1022Companion.wordpress.com (http://1022companion.wordpress.com) . This one starts with the most basic principles and goes on to calculating and making the required sight adjustment for the 10/22 leaf sight and Tech-Sights for barrels of varying lengths.
The series will move on through IMC, .22LR ballistics, and adjusting for varying distances, and will also cover scopes.
Because posts will not be on a regular schedule, the best way to keep up with this topic's progress is to click the Follow button on the blog. That will send you an email each time there is an update.
The third article in the series, Inches-Minutes-Clicks, is now up on the blog. It explains in detail how to calculate the MOA value of each click on your iron sights.
You will find it here: http://1022companion.wordpress.com/2014/12/27/sight-adjustment-part-3-inches-minutes-clicks/ (http://1022companion.wordpress.com/2014/12/27/sight-adjustment-part-3-inches-minutes-clicks/)
This series is good at creating interaction on FB pages. Some questions are coming in about other aspects (I.e. I have such and such sights - what should I do?).
Thanks
Thanks, Mutti. This third article should answer those questions. I would like to know if it doesn't. I take it those questions are being discussed on FB, as there is nothing on the blog. I have no plans to join FB at this time.
