This is the place for discussion, questions, comments, etc. on the November Kingman event.
We had 4 shooters (and 2 walk-on's, who changed their minds and left). The range put us in a 25 yd bay (#6) and was very helpful and supportive. BZ to IIT Matt from Flagstaff who came to shoot, but stepped up and helped out. The SB was fighting severe cold/flu, so Matt ran the line, and the SB did the history and points of instruction - great teamwork.
Kingman is known for the wind - we had 25-40 MPH winds both days. Even in the bay with berm on three sides, we had enough wind that the rounds were running about 2-3 MOA right of target. Winds were from left to right with a 45 degree angle of incidence. The wind made an excellent aid to the KD point of instruction!
Saturday's history was delayed as two shooters (50%) didn't bring lunch and left the range. Sunday worked out better - all shooters were prepared for the lunchtime stories.
